Proverbs 14:13-15

¹³ Even in laughter the heart may be in pain,
And the ^(A)end of joy may be grief.
¹⁴ The one who turns back in his heart will be satisfied with his ^(B)ways,
But a good man will ^(C)be satisfied ^[a]with his.
¹⁵ The simple believes everything,
But the prudent one discerns his steps.
